Based in Austin, Texas, Charlie trained through a traditional apprenticeship and brings decades of hands-on experience to his work. His foundation is grounded in strong composition and tattoos built to hold up over time.

Surrealist elements, maritime imagery, and restrained occult undertones run through much of his portfolio, supported by deliberate line work and a red-forward palette that has become a quiet signature. A pioneer in blackout and heavy black work since the ’90s, every element is placed with intention for flow, balance, and longevity.

His focus is simple: build it right. Create work that feels personal in the moment and continues to feel right years down the line.
